Business Strategy
Founded in 2007, Road Master employs proven Australian technology to produce a low-cost ionic soil transformation system (ISTS). Our competitive strategy is based on focused differentiation. Our focus is on regions where infrastructure is underdeveloped or failing. Differentiation is based on providing a competitively-priced, quality product with strong technical back-up during appraisal, design and implementation phases of each project. We also distinguish ourselves from our competitors through our strong focus on adding value to the communities in which we operate.
The Road Master ISTS enables users to employ on site materials to develop strong and stable soil-based platforms for roads, airstrips and similar applications. It has the potential to reduce building and maintenance costs by up to 40%. The Road Master product is priced to ensure viability of infrastructure projects, particularly in developing economies.
Road Master Central is the overarching entity in the group and it is responsible for coordination and support of all Road Master Activities. Our approach to manufacturing and distribution is to work with local interests to create distribution and manufacturing facilities in regions where demand is significant. Road Master Central provides marketing, operational and technical training and support to enable manufacturing and distribution centres to establish themselves strongly in their regions. Road Master Central will also focus on opening new markets and replicating the distribution and manufacturing arrangements wherever it identifies significant need. This approach will result in a federal structure and success will enable Road Master to make a worthwhile contribution to community development wherever it operates.
Road Master can in this way build a business of substantial value by adding value to the communities we serve. Through our federal structure, we assist in building strong local economies. In addition, we intend channelling a significant proportion of revenue back into development projects in the communities in which our products are used.
Environmental Benefits
An increasing emphasis on the ecological impacts of business activities will lead to increasing pressure to build infrastructure while creating minimum interference with the natural environment. Our product makes a strong contribution to the preservation of the environment in a number of ways:
Road Master ISTS:
- reduces the need for quarrying and transport of borrowed materials, reducing harmful emissions as well as minimising environmental interference;
- allows for a reduction in thickness of sealing layers on sealed roads, resulting in a reduction in the emissions associated with the production of sealants;
- strengthens and increases the life of road infrastructure so that vehicles using those roads perform more efficiently; leading to:
- longer vehicles and consumables life, reducing environmental impacts, including the consumption of resources and generation of waste, associated with manufacturing replacement vehicles and parts and disposing of those that are worn out or broken;
- a reduction in vehicular emissions.
In these ways, our product can contribute to the preservation of the environment, improvement of atmospheric quality and reduction in global warming pressures.
